Nelson's Love to Learn Child Care in Gretna, Nebraska is the area's premier childcare facility serving all of Gretna, Springfield, Ashland, Omaha and surrounding areas since 2005. Nelson's Love to Learn Child Care is family owned and operated with the same owner for 15+ years. We offer child care services for ages 6 weeks to 13 years. We also offer an onsite preschool with an after school program. Nelson's Love to Learn Child Care provides an environment and the opportunity for the physical, social, and mental development of children. The center and curriculum are designed to stimulate growth through a balance of guided and self-directed activities. Each child is given the opportunity for individual development and exploration through an environment that is creative, stimulating and nurturing. **Meet the Owner/Director**
Hi my name is Chelia Miller and I am the Owner/Director of Nelson's Love to Learn Child Care. I opened the center in 2005 after I outgrew my home day care and have absolutely loved everything about my career. Over the years I have met some wonderful families and loved getting to know them and their children. I am a single mom of two beautiful girls. They are my world and one of the many reasons I opened a center. I had a really hard time finding quality care and wanted to do my best to provide a great service to families in need of child care. We have lived here in Gretna for 18+ years and have loved the community. If you are looking for a small center that is in between the home day care and larger centers we are a good fit for you. We will LOVE your child and do the absolute best we can to make your childs day a happy one. We truly are the small center with BIG heart! I look forward to meeting you and watching your child grow! Love to learn has been an amazing fit for our children. Being a smaller center, honestly makes it feel like a family in the sense each staff member there knows every kid and their parents. The owner is amazing, she truly cares for all the kids and it shows. I never have to worry about leaving them there, knowing how each member of the staff is with the kids. Hands down the best choice in town for daycare.
